We catch Norfolk Southern 9555 again grinding upgrade to Bluefield, WV among spring foliage on the Christiansburg Division on the morning of May 23, 2020 outside of Hardy, WV along Ingleside Road. This part of the Christiansburg Division is full of curves that cause each train to slowly snake its way to its eventual destination of the Bluefield yards. With plenty of bridges, overpasses, rock cuts, and even bodies of water, there are plenty of photographic opportunities to be had.
