Who called for a tow truck? When NJ Transit train 80 experienced mechanical problems with MTA Metro-North Rail Road 4906 (EMD GP40PH-2) on the evening of Wednesday, July 1, 2020, Job 60 was dispatched to the rescue with NJTR 4212 (EMD GP40PH-2B). The engine tied on the Comet V cab car 6072, and departed a moment later. The elevation of the Paterson station is a result of a grade separation project by the Erie Railroad.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
