Remarks & Notes |
The Re 4/4 # 170 "Brig/Glis" of the BLS, nowadays designated Re 425 # 170, is about 50 years in service now and the oldest of the series with the ETCS L2 automatic train protection system (needed for Gotthard and Lötschberg Base tunnels). This locomotive had severe damages in a had-on collision in Biel Mett in august 2007 and was rebuilt and in operation again in october 2010. Re 4/4 # 170 is running light on the Bözberg south ramp near Umiken as train 38030 from Bellinzona to Pratteln, to the stable site of the BLS till the next duty. |
