Between 1984 and 1988 the Cape Cod & Hyannis RR operated seasonal passenger service between a Boston subway connection at Braintree and Hyannis. The morning fog was still lifting as ex-NH GP9 1210 led the southbound train from Braintree out of the stop at Middleboro, MA.
