Cresting one of the many summits along CP's right of way in the Fraser and Thompson Canyons, CN 3028 crest the hill under brilliant morning sunshine. CN's RoW on the opposite side of the river is a newer better engineered line, but had to endure the worst geologic features of the Canyons. Railroads use directional traffic thru the canyon to better move the end-less parade of trains. This perch above the mainlines is one of favorite spots in Canada. |
