The Flushing-bound (7) train approaching 52nd Street-Lincoln Avenue with the skyline of Lower Manhattan in the background. One would have been able to see the old World Trade Center (the Twin Towers) from this spot 20 years ago without the condo building in the way before the curve to Queens Boulevard and see this line be filled with Redbirds.
Another note here: 7466 is an ex-R142A that got converted into a R188 as part of the installation of CBTC on the (7) line; Corona Yard needed more trains for this and due to the extension to Hudson Yards, so a few of the R62As that was a part of the (7) at that time were sent back to the (6). The fleet swap and R142A to R188 conversion was fully completed in 2018. CBTC was activated on the (7) that same year. It is the 2nd subway line in the United States and in North America as a whole that has CBTC signalling; the (L) line was the first to activate the system in 2008 with the R143.
