Passing through downtown Kansas City (and past the Amtrak station, the elevated walkway on the right) is Union Pacific Railway AAMPX 07, an automotive train traveling to Phoenix AZ behind SD70ACe 8465 and SD70M 4617. The trackage, which draws railfans from all over the country, if not the world, is the Kansas City Terminal’s East-West Corridor, on which other railroads (Amtrak, BNSF Railway, Kansas City Southern, Norfolk Southern and Union Pacific) have trackage rights.
