In the early hours of the morning, WSOR 4223, an Ex Rio Grande SD45, pauses to let a CP Hotshot Intermodal overtake them before continuing on through the interlocking in Rondout, Illinois. Due to the 4th of July holiday, the crew was proudly flying flags on the nose and sides of the engine.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
