Remarks & Notes
La Veta Pass This light power is heading east up the 2.5% loop at Carr for the siding at Fir (upper left). The power will retrieve "hot" cars set-out earlier in the week for Coors that need to be spotted in the Valley. The Spring Creek Fire ravaged the area, but is already slowly coming back to life.

A compilation of DRGW's La Veta Pass route to the San Luis Valley now operated by the SLRG. With Rio Grande Scenic passenger operations coming to a close in 2019, the Alamosa sub is once again freight-only, as reflected here.
