Remarks & Notes
A regional train La Spezia Centrale - Levanto just departed from Vernazza, one of the UNESCO World Heritage listed "Cinque Terre" villages. The station is located in a tunnel. The opening of the railroad line Pisa - Genua in 1874 ended the isolation of these villages on the Eastern Italian Riviera. On the right, we can see the Church Santa Margherita di Antiochia which was built in 1318.
