| By the Searchlight. This empty grain train heads north out of Columbia, past an old searchlight signal. The signal is one of four in Columbia located on former Southern tracks and all four are non-ABS always displaying approach. Interestingly, these four signals actually are Seaboard signals, transferred to the Southern/NS as part of the combining of some rail lines around Columbia in the 1980s. |
