When no paint is the paint. On April 22, 2017, The Lehigh Valley Chapter of the NRHS operated a charter over the Reading and Northern Railroad. Budd built RDC-1 9168 (ex-New York Central Railroad M499) has a nice head of "steam" going as it departs from the Port Clinton, PA headquarters station for a day full of fun for the passengers and photographers. The RBMN has a robust passenger program that, while impeded by the unfortunate events of 2020, brings a great deal of joy to railfans and preservationists while being largely supported by the freight traffic of the railroad and efforts of President Andy Muller and his mechanical staff.
