A Boston & Maine GP39-2 and a Maine Central U23B, both pilfered from the Delaware & Hudson roster by Guilford, lead a “real” B&M GP38-2 at Catasauqua, Pennsylvania. They are assigned to train NE87, which ran from Portland, Maine, to Potomac Yard. I’m sure that the crew that will take the train from Allentown will not be happy with the folks who put together the power in Portland, since they will have a long hood forward leader to Pot Yard.
