| Even though 572 took 4 hours to get out of Council Bluffs, their timing was almost prefect west of Woodbine. Here the westbound UP train MPRNP passes the local as they head for Dension to swap trains with 573. The UP and CN pretty much parallel each other from here all the way to Dension, another 30 miles east in western Iowa. The CN and UP cross over each other behind the CN local about 2 miles back. |
