| The Iowa Northern's North Crew stops at the CN Interchange on the westside of Waterloo to setout 36 cars. The IANR has trackage rights over the CN from West Waterloo to Cedar Falls. Interchange between CN/IANR is quite heavy most weeks. Along with general traffic the 2 railroad interchange unit trains too. The north crew today is sporting a 6 axle leaser unit in consist. 6 axles units aren't too common on the IANR due to restrictions on the south end of the railroad. I believe the IANR is testing this unit out for the leasing company and this unit is staying on the north end for testing. |
