| An extra local from Waterloo to Dubuque begins the job of picking up grain at the Independence elevator. The Independence elevator is kind of an odd customer for the CN because it has no schedule jobs that service this area. So usually extra jobs have to do it, or bulk trains sometime will do it. Today this extra local will setout Cedar Rapids loading at Manchester, and this grain will go to Dubuque for 338 to pickup tomorrow. Lucky for me sometimes these odd ball extras will get the odd ball power laying around, which means old school power for me today!!!!
