Remarks & Notes |
In the modern PTC era, getting foreign power to lead right now was harder to do on the BNSF in spots thru mid-2020. This loaded wind mill train has a lone CN Dash 8 for power. The 6700 foot train makes their way west on the Ottumwa Sub between Ottumwa and Chillicothe. The train has just passed thru some strong storms as the sun peaks thru again. Wouldn't be my 1st choice of power for this 71 car train, but it is doing the job I guess. These train normally come out of eastern Canada and are interchange to the BNSF at Chicago/Eola. |
