Remarks & Notes |
A loaded coal train bound for Palo AL, roll east (south) on the St. Joseph Sub at Hall. The train has just top a small .5% grade as they make their way between Lincoln and KC. I like how the mainline signal sits to the inside of the mainline instead of the traditional outside due to room. For some reason this 9800 foot siding at Hall is split apart. Funny thing though the other end of the siding has the signals to the outside? Inside signals at sidings remind me alot of the old IC mainline across Iowa. The West Halls is located at MP 51 and sits between St. Joseph, MO, and KC. |
