Sunday Was All About Shapes. MTA New York City Transit Subway TGC 3 and TGC 4 are an identical set of track geometry cars built by Plaser. This unique pair normally patrols the trackage of the NYCT checking for defects, but on Sunday, August 30, 2020, TGC 4 is seen returning from a unique trip off the property where it inspected the geometry of the MTA LIRR East Side Access project. In the morning light, it is seen exiting the former New Haven Railroad East New York Tunnels on the Bay Ridge Line in Brooklyn, New York on the way to be interchanged back to NYCT.
