The PRR 1223 (Juniata, 1905,) running around its train at Paradise, about a year before it was retired from active service. The locomotive had been on loan to the Strasburg from the PRR, PC, and Pa. Historic and Museum Commission, respectively, starting in 1960. It was restored to operation on August 15, 1965, and was retired in 1989.
