| The sign of the times back in May 2020...The WSOR job heads east bound for Boscobel. The train passes the large sand plant on the eastside of Prairie du Chien. The plant has built temporary tracks to store their cars on. These temp tracks were built on the gravel to get these cars into the non-ballasted tracks. The switches were pulled up, leaving these cars parked in no man's land! Guessing these cars wont be moving anytime real soon? With gas prices super low this spring the oil and sand processing took a big hit. |
