Retiring near work. DOTX 001 (GE U30C, 6/1971) spent its career working at the US Department Of Transportation testing center in Pueblo, Colorado. Upon retirement it was donated to the Pueblo Railway Museum, where it is seen on the night of Monday, August 31, 2020, fewer than 25 miles from where it spent its career. The museum was formed in 2003 to preserve artifacts relating to the areas role in railroad history.
