On Saturday, the UP 1943 lead the MNPKS towards KC, and on Sunday afternoon, it led the train's counterpart back to North Platte, the MKSNP.
I had to be in Lawrence by 6, and the timing worked out great, as I shot this in Grantville just before 5, so who can complain? That still gave me enough time to GTS, grab a beverage, and head to the concert at KU.
