In late 1949 C&EI bought six NW2's, originally 119-124. The 1031 former 124 is now owned by the MoPac as she shuffles cars in Evansville, Indiana on September 22, 1968. The cab side has been painted over and a C&EI buzz-saw applied, and the large number on the flank has also been blacked out. Ray Smith Photo from my Collection.
