Our three daughters give a wave to the Engineer of CSX manifest freight train Q361-20, getting a wave and a short horn blast in return, as it crosses the Great Miami River Bridge in Hamilton, Ohio, on the final leg of their journey from Indianapolis to Cincinnati. I had originally planned a similar shot on the west side of the river with westbound train J784-20, but we missed him by a few minutes. Thankfully, we shortly discovered that eastbound Q361 was meeting J784 just west of Hamilton at McGonigle Siding, so I decided to try for this shot instead.
