Fire up the Firestone! When the Fall River Museum collection was dispersed, the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum stepped in to care for former New Haven Railroad RDC-1 42. Originally worn by another car that was scrapped, the name "Firestone" was added to 42, named after the Firestone tire plant in Fall River, MA. On the night of Saturday, September 19, 2020, it poses in front of the former NY, NH & H station in Lenox, MA.
