Remarks & Notes
First time in your future home. Amtrak's new Alstom Avelia Liberty (Acela 21) finally visited New York Pennsylvania Station for the first time on the night of Thursday, September 24, 2020. It has been testing in New Jersey and points south for the past few months, but went to GATE interlocking after leaving NYP to test its ability to run through the voltage change on the overhead electric catenary system. Train 179 departing on track 8 for Sunnyside Yard provides a contrast between the new and the old.

The worst of railroad design. Please, send me your entries / suggestions for the "Album of the ugly trains of the world" (past or present, paint scheme or shape).
