| With Green Line Extension trackwork continuing, Amtrak's Downeaster is still routed down the Western Route on its way to Boston on weekends. Southbound 694 sweeps through the curve just before Melrose/Cedar Park as the sun peaks through the persistent clouds on this mild September afternoon. The fall colors are starting to peak through and should be more prominent in a week or 2. |
