| Re 446 # 015 and # 017 of the EDG (Eisenbahndienstleister Gmbh, Thayngen) are running light from Islikon to Rheinfelden. Before they pulled a 2300 ton import bio sugar beets train from Germany via Basel to the Swiss sugar in Frauenfeld (Islikon). The 4960 kW locomotives were built in 1982 by SLM and BBC for the SBB, and were sold to the Südostbahn (SOB) in 1994/1996. In 2019, the 4 Re 446 # 015 to # 018 were sold to the EDG. |
