| With the virus affecting business back this summer, CN had really cut back on people and service days thru out Iowa. The west end had been pretty much went to 3 days a week service including the jobs on the Omaha Sub. The 572 and 573 jobs went to a Tues/Thur/Sat schedule in which they meet at Dension in the afternoons and swapped trains.
Here 573 heads back to the Bluffs with 15 cars as they cross over the Boyer River east of Woodbine. The Omaha Sub follows and crosses the Boyer River many time between Wall Lake and Missouri Valley, 75 miles. The CN also parallels the UP's Boone Sub closely west of Dension to Mo Valley along with highway 30. |
