Remarks & Notes |
Every year Network Rail employ "Rail Head Treatment Trains" to spray water to clear leaves and leave adhesion enhancing glue behind to improve performance in the difficult leave fall season. The bonus is because of the seasonal nature they often employ older locomotives to haul these trains (much to the delight of railfans) and here an approx 60 year old class 37 hauls the train over the River Trent on the 1916 built Keadby Bridge. |
