| This fall heavy rains cause some serious issues on the Dubuque Hill near MP 189. The whole hillside gave out and fell towards the tracks in a landslide. That cause some problems with the heavy rains and the flooding Catfish Creek along the tracks. Now the owners have a contractor working on getting the bank cut down and stable this winter. The landslide also knocked down a block of trees, opening up a shot. Here 338 coasted downgrade towards Dubuque Yard only 5 miles ahead.
