A local railfan couple take in the action of the newest steam railroad in America during the 1960s as Strasburg Rail Road #90 hustles west with its daily passenger train along the Road to Paradise near Groff’s Grove. This photo was taken on October 18, 2020 as part of a photo charter celebrating the SRC's 60th anniversary celebration in which SRC #90 was backdated to its 1960s retro livery.
Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
