On this cool November night, we have a rare sight in CSX’s Brookley Siding in Mobile, AL. UP 1943 (Spirit of the Union Pacific) on point of CSX Q602-01 (New Orleans, GA to Waycross, GA). After the crew call time got changed multiple times, so we had to make due with exposures of it tied down.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
