The "Boxes" Are Back, Again. New Jersey Transit Train 1171 had a classy couple of cowls leading to Suffern, New York on Monday, November 9, 2020. NJTR 4120 and 4119 (EMD F40PH-2CAT) have been paired up for a few recent assignments on work trains, but are making the (re)return to passenger service on an unseasonably warm autumn evening as they pass the former WC Tower (now Waldwick Historical Society Erie Signal Tower Museum) in Waldwick, New Jersey.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
