| Richmond, Virginia is home to many unique railroading artifacts. One of the most interesting - yet overlooked ones is the C&O viaduct of Richmond. One of the longest in the United States, it spans the length of the Richmond skyline - and is the upper layer of the world famous (and only) 'Triple Crossing'. While its prominent days of being a bustling mainline are gone - it still holds importance as a Mid-Atlantic artery into the Midwest. |
