| An eerie red glow emanates from the cab of Union Pacific ES44AC 2567 – A portal to Hell? A photographic darkroom? – as a pair of GE ES44ACs spend the night in Union Pacific's West Anaheim Yard. In the morning, UP 7754 and 2567 will pick up cars set out along Interstate 5 and haul them UP's West Colton Yard. And the red lighting in the cab? This is a recent addition to new GEs – it comes on when the engine is in "Emergency." The engineer must have placed 2567 in "Emergency" when they parked these engines for the weekend.
