The 6 commuter push-pull trains of the main network, with railcars Be 4/4 # 511 to # 516, were built in 1971/1979 by FFA (Flug- und Fahrzeugwerke Altenrhein) and SAAS for the Rhaetian Railway. Now the enf of life of this trains is near, all will be withdrawn and scrapped in the next months. In 2010, on the occasion of the Engadin Skimarathon, all 6 trains were running in the Engadine for the high demand. Be 4/4 # 512 and # 516 with 4-car trains in multiple control are on the way between La Punt Chamues-ch and Bever.
