Remarks & Notes

There are multiple impressive wooden trestles along the former Tennessee Central line between the mine at Crab Orchard and the interchange in Rockwood. Some are remote but unless you hike in from the side of the highway there really are few options to view the Millstone Creek trestle other than by air. The 3x a week turn crosses the Millstone Creek Trestle with loads headed to the interchange as the last of the fall color hangs on.
