With just a hint of trademark Alco smoke, Dubois County Railroad Alco S2 No. 78, wearing a fresh coat of Algers, Winslow & Western colors with DCRR lettering, leads a joint DCRR/French Lick Scenic Railway Photo Freight across a trestle over the Patoka River in a very rural area between Cuzco and Dubois, Indiana, on the former Southern Railway French Lick Branch. Paired with No. 78 on this freight is the FLSR's restored AW&W RS1 No. 4, making for a nice matched set. Matching Alcos in 2020? I'll take it!
