Built in 2019, this shelter is located in Exton, Pennsylvania, near the long gone PRR Whiteland station (which was also more of a shelter than station). A plan to improve the station was announced in 2013 and finally completed in 2019. The project saw full length high-level boarding platforms installed, the addition of a small station building on the opposite inbound side and much improved parking. The 1981 built shelter seen here is just a memory. In time, I hope to make a trip back to see (and photograph) the newly finished depot. Exton is roughly 28 miles west of Downtown Philadelphia and is located on the Keystone line. The popularity of the station is due to its location near the intersection of US Route 30 and PA Route 100, with little significance otherwise.
