Winter is but one day old, yet the autumn colors on trees along Cajon Creek are still abundant as BNSF Guaranteed Service Intermodal train Q-NWHLAC0-19L (North Baltimore OH to Los Angeles CA) descends Cajon Pass behind Norfolk Southern AC44C6M 4289 (rebuilt from NS Dash 9-40CW 9033 in May 2020), BNSF Dash 9-44CW 5028 and BNSF ES44DC 7930. This train is coming off Sullivan’s Curve and rejoining Main 3, Cajon Pass’ original mainline, here at Cajon, the old Santa Fe station named for the Pass. (Cajon Pass, California – December 23, 2020)
