Cogwheel railcar Bhe 2/4 # 1 of the Rigi Bahnen, built in 1937 by SLM and BBC for the Vitznau-Rigi-Bahn (together with sister # 2 and # 3), is running down the mountain with 12 km/h on the 20.0 % grade between Rigi Kulm and Rigi Staffel, as second train 1116. This railcars of the first generation have doors on the opposite side of the vehicle only. In the foreground is the track of the former Arth-Rigi-Bahn, which was a competitor to the VRB for decades. In 1992, the ARB and the VRB joined to the Rigi Bahnen.
