Hauling a train-load of merchandise from overseas is BNSF Intermodal Stack train S-LHGALT2-05 (Los Angeles Harbor’s Global Gateway South to Alliance TX) passes the signals controlling movements through the San Bernardino Sub’s Fullerton Junction (at which point two BNSF tracks head east toward Arizona and beyond, and two Metrolink tracks head south to San Diego). Three GE diesels (ES44C4s 8030 and 6584, and Dash 9-44CW 5094) are teamed with an EMD diesel (SD70ACe 9145) to gets these goods halfway across the country. (Fullerton, California – January 6, 2021)
