Working hard on the steep grade out of Clifton, Arizona, is a Freeport-McMoRan train of loaded acid tanks curving through Corral cut approaching Corral Road grade crossing on October 23, 2020. Five EMD GP38/38-2s power the train, led by FMI GP38-2 No. 59, rebuilt former Rio Grande GP40 No. 3075 that has done plenty mountain climbing during its lifetime. Behind No. 59 is a trio of units still wear the blue, white and red colors of former owner Phelps-Dodge.
