| 4105 assumes the role of a cab car on the east end of train 5416 for the third morning in a row. The train is seen departing Dunellen shortly after sunrise on a cloudy morning. 4105 is no stranger to the Raritan Valley Line, having been built in as CNJ 3679 in 1968. It is also historically appropriate to run long-hood forward, as Jersey Central frequently operated their GP40Ps bidirectionally. Not bad for a locomotive approaching its 53rd year in service...the same service for which it was built! |
