Number 101. NJ TransitALP45DP 4535 was delivered by Conrail Shared Assets SK-3 (Norfolk Southern Corp 5286, GP38-2) from Port Newark on Monday, January 18, 2021. Presently, NJ Transit has 100 Bombardier ALPs on the active roster (65 ALP46/A and 35 ALP45DPs). It is yet unclear what part of NJT's motive roster these units will displace as they arrive, but for the time being it is likely that they will supplement the existing roster. 4535 is the first of 25 additional ALP45DPs from this new batch.
