A high priority freight train from Blytheville, AR, to Galesburg, IL, is slowly pulling out of the West Quincy Yard. The train here crosses the Quincy Bay Bridge as they begin the last segment of the trip into Galesburg. The train has also crossed from Missouri into Illinois as they cross the Mississippi River 1 mile back. This bridge was built as part of a big bypass route around Quincy, IL, the CB&Q did in 1960.
