After NS #8018 arrived into town NS #8147, also an ES44AC unit, departed east out of Bluefield enroute for Roanoke on January 16, 2021. With its snow capped coal train #8147 should have no issue leading its train downgrade towards the New River Valley. This train will likely be routed over to the former Virginian mainline near Narrows, VA which has lesser grade to fight heading east to Roanoke.
