Remarks & Notes |
#1607 (a 1920 Baldwin) from the Australia Sugar mill is heading to the next loading point with an empty cane train. It was not always easy to follow the cane trains on the dirt roads in the Cuban countryside by car. The roads were often bad with deep potholes and the dust raised by the car in front made it difficult to drive and see anything. It was also necessary to close all the windows to prevent the dust from the road entering the car. This was not easy at an average temperature of 35 °C. (95 °F). |
